Bespoke Vestment Chest Designed for Practical Church Storage
We are proud to present a recently completed project for St John’s Church Hyde Park, where we had the privilege of designing, manufacturing, and installing a bespoke vestry fitment alongside a matching table and chair set.
The vestry fitment was carefully designed to combine practicality with timeless craftsmanship. It features a generously sized vestment chest specifically created to store vestment copes safely, helping to prevent creasing and damage during storage. A dedicated hanging section to the right-hand side provides additional space for cassocks, ensuring garments remain organised, accessible, and well presented at all times.
To enhance both the functionality and atmosphere of the space, the installation was completed with two integrated LED downlighters, selected to complement the existing lighting within the room and create a bright, warm, and welcoming environment.
Alongside the vestry installation, we also designed and handcrafted a bespoke table and chair set to match seamlessly with the surrounding cabinetry. The furniture provides a versatile and comfortable space suitable for meetings, preparation, or quiet reflection.
Every piece was handcrafted in European oak and finished in a clear satin lacquer, highlighting the natural beauty of the timber while delivering a refined, durable, and professional finish that will serve the church for many years to come.

During October Paul, Oliver and the team spent time at the beautiful LLandogo Church in Monmouth, fitting a new servery area. The Church is a Grade 2 listed building built between1859 and 1861.
