Custom Wheelchair-Friendly Mercy Seats
We’ve recently designed and crafted a bespoke pair of wheelchair-accessible Mercy Seats for a Salvation Army congregation in Middlesbrough.
After a detailed consultation, we created a design that allows wheelchair users to fully participate at the Mercy Seat alongside the rest of the congregation.
These Mercy Seats are built from beautiful European Oak and finished with a clear lacquer to showcase the natural grain. Each piece includes two padded kneelers for added comfort during use.
For added flexibility, we can also fit our Mercy Seats with braked castors on request—ideal for clients who need easy movement or adaptable layouts.
We also supplied one of our ever-popular Gas Height Adjustable Canterbury Lecterns, crafted in natural European Oak to perfectly match the new Mercy Seats. The lectern features a contrasting arched front panel that adds a refined touch and beautifully complements the overall design.
